The New York City Clean Trucks Program has launched in the South Bronx! Watch the webinar to learn more.

The ‘Advancing Clean Air & Climate Goals with Clean Fuel Trucks’ webinar was co-hosted by Empire Clean Cities, Energy Vision, and NYC Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) with presentations from NYS Senator Alessandra Biaggi, WE ACT for Environmental Justice, Clean Energy, and Manhattan Beer Distributors.

These presentations highlight the importance of bringing healthier air to residents of the South Bronx, as well as the resources available to help fleets transition to clean, alternatively fueled medium- and heavy-duty trucks.

Offered by the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) to promote sustainable transportation and a cleaner environment in NYC, this program has expanded to the South Bronx, a busy transportation corridor that experiences some of the worst air quality in the nation.

This means cleaner trucks for a greener New York City:

• Incentives to help ease the financial burden of purchasing new, clean, natural gas trucks.
• Ultra-low carbon fuel produced from organic waste that produces fewer harmful emissions.
• Less emissions = a cleaner New York City
