The DeKalb County, GA Fleet Management Department, which is fueled and maintained by Clean Energy, was ranked #1 by “The 100 Best Fleets in the Americas™” out of 38,000 public fleets in North America.

DeKalb County was also awarded a FLEXY (Fleet Excellence Award) for “Outstanding Achievement in Public Fleet Management” from the NAFA Fleet Management Association.

“We keep DeKalb rolling with support from our trusted fueling partner Clean Energy,” said Robert Gordon, deputy director of fleet management, DeKalb County. “Winning The 100 Best Fleets #1 ranking shows that the county is providing value to the citizens we serve and that we are focused on doing the right thing.”

“We congratulate DeKalb County for being named best fleet in North America and applaud Robert Gordon, deputy director of fleet management, for his dedication to operating a top-notch fleet that is focused on customer service, sustainability practices, and employee training,” said Mark Riley, Regional Vice President, Sales, Clean Energy. “We’re proud to partner with DeKalb County and further its initiatives to develop best practices, reduce the need for unscheduled repairs and maintenance costs, and negate environmental impact.”

Six years ago, the Country partnered with Clean Energy to fuel their growing fleet of new natural gas trucks, and today continues to maintain and provide compressed natural gas (CNG) for DeKalb’s two public access fueling stations.
